ReplyDeleteShe dresses carefully, wanting to look beautiful for him; the silky dress, the necklace he loves her in when she's wearing nothing else ... she deepens the color of her mouth, ready for his kisses. The final step .. the hat, tilted to hide her eyes .. then she waits, with a half-smile and thoughts of him.
