RENDEZVOUS
Jonah inhaled deeply. Ardith was already here...he sensed her presence in the sharper light of the ice-dazzled morning. He smiled.
It had been a long journey to this snow-bound hideaway -- weeks of mystic telepathic discovery. The miles he had traversed seemed nothing to those intimate moments that stretched between them like a living bridge.
What a lovely find.
ReplyDeleteHOT! Can feel the electricity!
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely. :D
ReplyDeleteI need to keep all the bits and bobs of this story together, so I can put it together eventually, and post it all at one time here for you all to read!
ReplyDeleteThat would be grand
ReplyDelete*smiles @ Rogsy*
ReplyDeleteA rendezvous at Church. Hmmmmm......guided by fate maybe?
ReplyDeleteSo the journey continues. Loved this piece.

This story continuation reminds me of one of Stephen kings stories.....
ReplyDeleteOooh a nice one.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...it's not a horror, is it, Nik? LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Irene! :)
ReplyDeleteNoooooooo.....I'm not implying anything. just that this continuation of a story in serielized form made me think of one of his stories. i just cannot recall the name just now. I'll have to hunt it up.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to hearing it, Nik! :)
ReplyDeleteThe dark tower.....I've only read two or three of his books in this long running series and one stand alone story. I loved the stand alone story which was a short story in one of his books.
ReplyDeleteThe short stories novel was Everything Eventual. The stand alone version of the dark tower story was The Little Sisters of Eluria which i really loved. The ending was a bit sad yet well expressed...at least for me. :)
ReplyDeleteNice :)
