LAUGHTER IN THE RAIN

She ran ahead with the umbrella and his heart soared. He felt so free, so alive. She was the beauty in his heart, the reason he laughed, the way he met the world. She was his soul. He stood still, drenched, watching her running barefoot, giggling.

Arms wide, face raised heavenward, he shouted his joy...
