For EARTH DAY

Our world, the Earth
Third planet from the sun,
Flanked on either side by Venus and
Mars – Roman gods of love and war – a
Telling kind combination, with us caught in
The middle, partaking in both equally.
The land, meanwhile, suffers for our
Negligence, lack of care, and little
Show of concern for the other
Creatures who inhabit this
Planet with us – one
Day, will it all
Be gone?

Acrostics

Here's the acrostic poem for my name. No, children, you may NOT ue it!

K indhearted, that's who I am,
A nxious to please,
R eserved, you'd better believe it!
E ngaging, as good teachers are,
N ever bored, without something to do.
