Remember two years ago I introduced you to a stray cat that adopted us, the calico we named Copper? Remember that poor Copper died in late winter, earlier this year?
Well, yesterday, another stray arrived, almost two years to the day. I've named her Twoey (aka Copper #2), and yeah I think it may be a she-cat. I'll have to see if she will let me have a look. :)
Now, can any other of my cat-loving friends, or maybe my vet friends, tell me what sort of cat Twoey is? She is no ordinary tabby...at least it doesn't look ordinary to me. Aside from her extreme skinniness -- the poor thing is literally skin and bones -- she is a very long cat, and were she at her proper weight, she'd be BIG! I think she's old, too -- there's a line of grey fur down her bony spine.
My hubby has told our youngest not to feed Twoey. Fortunately for the cat, I'm NOT my youngest child! 'Nuff said, I think!

very pretty kitty. Twoey looks loving .. the tail says Twoey is happy. As for the Breed??? When You say long ... I know Maine Coons are know to be Big and very long. Mine when stretched toe to toe is as long as a yard stick.

She looks like an abyssinian cat. A little weight on her and she will be gorgeous. I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture to you.

He really looks emaciated...poor little thing. I really know nothing of cat breeds. I was just looking up what to feed a starving cat and it said that meat baby food is good for her. Also, starting her on Wellness canned cat food, cottage cheese, yogurt and boiled chicken. They need to be fed 6-8 small meals a day. Chicken broth, water, or unflavoured pedialite can be fed through a srynge (no needle! << that's for hubby's information!!! lol) . I hope that helps, Teri. Are you going to keep her??
I'm afraid I can be of little assistance. My interest in cats extends to a few of the smaller species ( Clouded Leopards ), members of the genera Felis and Panthera weighing over 75 pounds, and extinct machairodonts ( nimravids and saber - toothed tigers like Smilodon ).
Your cat does look like the ancient Egyptian cat goddess.
Yeah, Chey...she could look like this with some meat on her bones, poor thing!

She is...just like Copper did, she loves to be rubbed and she likes to rub up against us.
How can people be so cruel? She's obviously used to people...more than likely she was someone's pet. If you can't afford to keep the cat, why not try to give it away? Why just abandon it?
